We did it! On January 21, over 5 million of us worldwide, and over 100,000 in London, came to march, speak and make our voices heard. But it doesn’t end here - now is not the time to hang up our marching shoes - it’s time to get our friends, family and community together and make history.

Every 10 days, over the next 100, we will take action on an issue we all care about, STARTING TODAY.

ACTION 1/10

WRITE TO THERESA MAY OR YOUR LOCAL MP

Theresa May is meeting with Donald Trump on Thursday 26/01 and we expect her to categorically reaffirm the UK's commitment to human rights; to send a loud and clear message to Donald Trump that the UK will not waver in the upholding of those ideals.
Write her, or your local MP, a postcard (see below); a letter; an e-mail; or even send a photo of you at the march. Tell her/them your concerns and let our voices be heard.
Consider meeting some friends, family, neighbours, or fellow marchers for drinks or dinner to talk about your experience and views, and draft your notes together.

STEP A

GET YOUR CARDS

STEP B

make it your own

Write down your thoughts on your card (or letter! or e-mail!).
Pour your heart out on any issue that you care about, whether it’s ending gender-based violence; supporting reproductive rights and women’s health; LGBTQIA+ rights; workers' rights; civil rights; immigrant rights; religious freedom; environmental justice, or anything else.

If you need some inspiration, check out the WM Guiding Principles and #WhyIMarch hashtag.

STEP C

SHARE IT WITH THE WORLD AND SEND IT

Before you send it, take a photo of your postcard and post it to social media using the #WhyIMarch tag.

Post your cards (remember to add a stamp!) or letters intended for Theresa May to:

Mrs. Theresa May
10 Downing Street,
