We did it! On January 21, over 5 million of us worldwide, and over 100,000 in London, came to march, speak and make our voices heard. But it doesn’t end here - now is not the time to hang up our marching shoes - it’s time to get our friends, family and community together and make history.

Every 10 days, over the next 100, we will take action on an issue we all care about, STARTING TODAY.

ACTION 4/10

RANDOM ACTS
of kindness

ACTS AS CORNERSTONES

It is not only bold acts of defiance, but small acts of love, kindness and sacrifice that will be the cornerstones of a just and inclusive global society. When we marched together, it was the kindness, love, and solidarity of those we marched with that gave us hope and reminded us how many people in this world share our vision of a brighter future, accessible to all.
For our next action, we’re asking all of our marchers
to keep the spirit generated on 21/01/2017 alive
and continue to build an inclusive community defined by
empathy, love and ally-ship,by committing to
"1 act of love and kindness toward others"
per day for the next 10 days.

MAY WE SUGGEST

These acts could be something small like helping a stranger carry their bags; giving to a food bank; volunteering your time or resources to a local organisation or charity; similarly, volunteering time and resources to refugee aid charities; seeking out and reading articles or books written by women of colour; listening to and attending to a homeless person's needs. It might be helpful to write a list of 10 prejudices you see in your community, along with 10 intentions for addressing these. This list could underpin your 10 kind acts over 10 days.

CHALLENGE = CHANGE

The possibilities are endless, but what is important is that you share your love through action. This action should also be challenging for you. Change never happens in times of comfort or familiarity. So aim to push yourself; to extend the radius of your comfort zone.

SHARE ALIKE

Please share your acts of kindness, the acts of kindness you witness, & those that others bestow upon you, on social media with the hashtags
#randomactsofkindness
#womensmarchlondon
Let's fill our social media feeds with stories of hope, community and love.

Remember: 10 Small acts x 100,000 = BIG impact.
