In Honour of Jo Cox, a Nationwide Event
"By asking people to come together for street parties, picnics and bake-offs, we hope to create the biggest street party since the Jubilee, and send a message to everyone. That there is more that unites than divides us.
The whole country is getting behind the idea. And we’d love you to be a part of it.
Holler4 will once again be teaching Milck's iconic women's song at St James Piccadilly from 2 til 4pm and we will be taking to the streets to sing it afterwards to celebrate I Can't Keep Quiet Day.
The theme of this event hosted by the National Algerian Centre is to improve women's use of technology through the provision of workshops, talks and any relevant activities.
You would only have to bring with you anything you would need to share your skills/knowledge.
"Human Rights Watch is one of the world’s leading independent organizations dedicated to defending and protecting human rights. Through our Human Rights Watch Film Festival we bear witness to human rights violations and create a forum for courageous individuals on both sides of the lens to empower audiences with the knowledge that personal commitment can make a difference. The film festival brings to life human rights abuses through storytelling in a way that challenges each individual to empathize and demand justice for all people."
